Workforce Development Program (WDP)

 Be Your Own Success Story

The Workforce Development Program (WDP) is an offering of the Community College of the District of Columbia (CCDC). WDP helps job hunters develop the skills that local employers need today. Among the available career areas for which training is available are:

  • Health Care
  • Construction Trades
  • Hospitality Careers
  • Office Technology
  • Administrative Technology

Other classes include:

  • GED Preparation
  • Accuplacer Preparation
  • National Work Readiness Certification Training

Who is eligible?

  • Adult residents of the District of Columbia are eligible to participate in WDP training.

What does the training cost?

  • All WDP training is FREE to District of Columbia residents.

To review the training choices available for fall 2009, visit WDP’s current Schedule of Classes.  You may indicate your interest in enrolling in WDP training activities by completing a statement of interest.

What is our mission?

To reduce unemployment and underemployment in the District of Columbia by enhancing the skills of its residents.
